Crysis hurts.

That is all.

The graphics are mind blowing and the physics are pretty cool but it is for sure going to be the new benchmarking game as like tempus says it hurts lol :)

Ok, Crysis needs a lot of tweaking before they release it for sale. Everyone with 64 bit systems are getting crashes and people with 32 bit systems are getting choppy performance. I'm getting hit or miss performance and I just upgraded my system to Intel Quad Q6700, Gefarce 8800GTX ko and 4 gigs of ram. I can run 1680X1050 on medium 32 bit, 64 bit runs at same but crashes w/bsod randomly.

My other system (3gz p4 ht, Radeon X1950 pro agp & 2 gigs ram won't even display an image once you get passed the opening movie, just a bunch of random triangles and lines.

woot... ...

these are the drivers you want for vista and if you don`t have the hotfixs for vista they are on the nvidia site also and are really helpful 64 bit vista don`t know about but runs fine on 32 and on xp.

xp 1024 by 768 low setting =70 avg fps vista 1024 by 768 high setting avg 45 very high avg 25 fps in low detail it looks like far cry on a dx 9 machine in low detail in vista well...it just looks like crap!

OK, really messed up here. I did several driver tests on my P4 machine (x1950 pro agp) and got Crysis to run and it runs beautifully at 1680 x 1050. It doesn't look as good as it does on my other box but it runs fluidly with settings on medium. Go figure. I still have hiccups on my Quad core system here and there and am running the game in 32 bit mode for stability. I've actually had a performance drop in 64 bit mode.

That is why I didn`t bother with 64 bit vista just yet...they are still trying to get good drivers for 32 bit and non of the games are native to 64 bit yet. Crysis runs fluid on my system with one card enabled sli is worse it actually cuts the frames in half but most of the reading I have done on this game is saying the released version will run better on your quad the demo doesn`t support the quads fully yet or sli for that matter....the real kicker is the guy who says he enabled the dx10 goodies in xp and is running it there is a video of it on youtube but you can`t tell for sure it isn`t dx9

1680 X 1050 smooth as can be. I haven't tried 19 x 1200 yet.

Its cool and all but to me the novelty of cutting down trees and looking like the predator wore off pretty quick. I just hope the game play is getting as much thought as the graphics.

I think the story will be good not to sure about the experience on the hardware just yet ...not running out to buy something that runs like crap on my hardware even if it is the graphical benchmark for the next 5 years.
