This is happening to quite a few people I know. Try that Nvidia Beta driver, I heard that was a decent fix. The forum replies saying it is the OS is probably BS when the very same thing is happening to many. Sounds like UT3 is a buggy POS right now.

My load times suck with 2 gigs of ram but thats my only tech problem.
gameplay....it feels like halo, complete shit, it seems to me made for consoles with the core ut fans left out. It doesnt feel right. The trans sucks also, i miss the 99 trans that was so much fun.

I finally did get it to run a bit better on the kids' PC. I haven't been able to play it much though. :(

My oldest got the whole way through the campaign in about 2 days - he doesn't even bother playing it anymore now. My youngest prefers UT2K4.

Like I said in another thread - I hope some nice "Giant" maps come out soon. That might get me more involved with the game.
