I closed down my shop last year and have been building me a stealth studio disguised as a barn. It's been 1 hell of a 1 man project but I am getting close to finishing stage 1 and figured I'd post up. And yes, I have used the old hooptiebago as the #1 redneck scaffold eva!

Looks like it's coming along pretty nicely. maybe you should have called in the Amish for a barn raising! You could have had it done in an afternoon. :D

Part of me wishes it went up fas, but part is really proud to say I did something that big with my own 2 hands. I still have a 15x40 shed to frame on each sidewall but I am happy stage 1 is almost ready to be operational.

Pretty damn cool, for sure it's something to be proud of.

I want to have a house built next year up on the ridge and this has been a great experience for me in teaching me the processes. I don't want to do all that hammering myself but I feel a lot more confident in dealing with a contractor to get it done.

I still have a good bit of work but I'm happy. I finally got my stairs put up yesterday and that's great! no more ladder...hehe I have a 20x30 loft I am gonna set-up as my new home office.

That rocks! I have been telling the wife that I want a barn, but she will have no part of it. :(
