New dog "C.J." She's a Puggle mix and thankfully seems to be more Beagle than Pug.

Old dog "Cody" with C.J.

So, C.J. is from the Homeward Bound animal rescue group and she's the smallest dog I've ever deliberately gotten. My kids loved her from the moment they saw her and Trish and I are puddles of mush around her as well. Our Beagle Cody that we rescued last year is getting on pretty well with her too. They have butted heads a couple of times but now seem to be mostly just playful pals. Once again to anyone who is looking for a pet, go adopt one. It's so much more rewarding than buying a puppy mill-pet store pup that it makes me wonder how pet stores stay in business.

I call shenanigans on that entire list. Each breed has its own merits, even poodles. I pick the pooch not the breed. It seems that this little pup is working out pretty well so far, dumb breed or not.

Super cute dog, B.

My wife is sort of fixated on weimaraners, so my only rescue option is to get a weim from weimaraner rescue. The only reason I haven't done that yet is because I know that will require a lot of work to train a rescue dog.

Damn - I need to win powerball... I need to quit my job so I can do what I want to do... like have a farm with a bunch of dogs. :)
