Well, perhaps the 'upgrade' path might not have been the best move.

I've got to work on my web server now, it won't come up because they've changed a lot of the apache modules and, apparently, my old httpd.conf file is invalid now.

Yeah, I remember upgrading from FC1 to FC3. The chroot environment had changed and "broke" some services that had to be fixed..:(

If you do use Torrent's to get the CDs, be sure you SHARE them for a little while atleast, if you can't share them 24/7.

I share mine 24/7, but only like 5 KB/sec upload speed is all I allow it.

Apparently got some better instructions to follow from the fedora forums.

Install UT2k4
Install this patch -
http://dodownload.filefront.com/4489...f47edf063be630
Which includes the 3369, megapack, and editors choice files.
THEN run the game :)

I'll try it lata today.

I'll have to postpone my Lx build until this weekend, then I'll give it a shot. I havn't played 2k4 in years.
