I am having an issue with Windows media player not showing video for mpegs. I get the audio fine but no picture.

I have dl'd codecs, uninstalled ( which just reverts bak to previous edition) and I have re dl'd current player but nothing helps. I ahve done something unintentionall like a setting i think but can't resolve the issue....

I can watch the files fine in the Divx palyer, the apple player etc... but not Windows media... Anyone got any tips/suggestions.

Well, yeah, one. Don't use WMP.

If you must, you might need to download the right set of codecs.

I long ago gave up on WMP due to issues that free players don't seem to have. VLC seems to always work.
