I wasn't planning on it unless I stop in tomorrow to take some pictures. Bristol only pays me for a small monthly ad, I do a lot of coverage of my own accord. Don't get me wrong, we have a lot of great bracket racers and I have a few friends racing this weekend but my efforts lean heavy to our nothing street nights and our heads-up scene, I just find it more exciting.
I am waiting right now for my old man to show up and give me a ride. I have to go change a tire for my dually and then I hope to get a stang hauled to the chassis shop for it's cage and I sold a F-body roller this week I need to deliver by trailer too. If I can get that done and finish dropping a motor in this f150 I picked up to sell I can start working on putting my convertible together so I can play again. Even doing it myself it's too expensive a hobby and I don't seem to have that motivation I had when I was 18...lol
In stark contrast to my life, a very good friend just bought the fastest drag radial car on the planet but wrecked another of his cars 3 weeks ago and is now thinking about getting out of racing. We had a talk last week and it's an odd situation cause I could prob drive for him if I just asked but I have never thought of myself as a "driver". I wouldn't mind teaming up with him and campaigning his TTBBC vette tho. The stang he bought is bad, but I like the vette better and it's not much off the mustang. Last month it ran a 7.43@198 which is killer with Bristol's elevation. idk what will happen the next few weeks with the scene in Bristol, the spring fling is always a good car count race because of the pay out, but the heads-up stuff brewing is a shit load of entertainment. When my new PC gets here I have a ton of vid clips to edit since this rig crashes when trying to edit vids...I will post a link when I get some teasers done.
