So I was talking with Andrew tonight and the thought occurred to both of us, where the hell did that last ut 99 movement go? What happened to the LASA guys?

I'll tell you, there's not enough interest, no one has the time or energy, it just don't have a chance.

PS If this were to cost me more then 10 bucks a year, I'd dump it today.
It's cheap, takes no maintenance and it's nice to see old acquaintances form time to time.

With that.. Carry on

It's still hot here in NJ.

Tom,

About the only thing I play lately is BF2 There is a map from the epic clan that plays only Wake Island 2007 and it is a blast. No one goes to any of the UT99 servers. THey are all empty. dam shame but I gotta say BF2 is great!

In gaming circles even BF2 is considered an old, dare I say OBSOLETE, game.

I still have UT 99 and 2004 installed on my computer (that abortion UT3 didn't make the transition when I built a new rig last year).

We got lucky with UT 99 and the fact that internet gaming was such a new thing.

There are so many games now I don't even try to keep track. I have so little interest in buying new games...

I, too, still play BF2. But I've lost the love for that as well.

I guess I must be an old obsolete turd yeah there are too many games now to keep up with. Man I sure miss the good old days when you came into candys server and just got your ass handed to you. But was fun. Dam those were good times when things were simple.

I still play a little of everything but off line. It's too late at night to find any one by the time my kids are asleep and the house is quiet, it's too annoying to have to cut out in the middle of practically every round to attend to one of them. I think I've become a web hermit.
